SCHOOL UNIFORM

Most of  the people agree that in school, students have to wear a school uniform. But, what are the advantages and disadvantage of school uniforms? Some people think that school uniforms feel the students more equal with the others. However, there are also disadvantages to school uniform.

One advantage of (*) school uniform is that it looks much more formal, it is smart and it makes a good impression. Also, if any crime happens outside of school, members of the public can identify which school they attend (*). They make everybody feel equal, too. Uniforms can reduce bullying, because everyone looks the same and this can stop people feeling that they have to wear expensive designer clothes to school.

On the other hand, uniforms are very boring, also sometimes they are very old-fashioned and students can get very hot, during the summer term, with the school uniform. In addition, it is too formal and uncomfortable. Furthermore, they stop people (*) expressing their creativity.

On balance, I feel that school uniforms are better because they seem that school is very formal and serious, and this is very important. However, I (*) think that is important that people express their creativity.
