THE FAMEBAG

PEPA: Pep! Look at this! I need to have it!
PEP: Mmm... But don’t you have already a handbag, honey?
PEPA: Yes! But it is old-fashioned! It’s from two weeks ago and it’s not trendy, also…
PEP: Really? I think it is really cool.
PEPA: Yes it is, but this is more modern and look at all this qualities! It has a stock, Wi-Fi connection, more compartments, light inside…I'm astonished!
PEP: Do you really need all this things?
PEPA: Of course, I do. And look at this wonderful desing, it’s amazing!
PEP: In my opinion it is very ugly… the design is very simple.
PEPA: Well, you are not the one who's gone carry it, so I’m buying this bag.
PEP: Oh, ok. But not with my money!
PEPA: What?! Look at the price, it's very cheap!
PEP: Of course, £200 are nothing. That's why you can pay it by your own.

PEPA: What a gentleman...!

SHARKY CONTACT

HANNA: Look Harrison! Do you know what is that?

HARRISON: Yeah! It’s sharky contact, the latest design in contact lents.

HANNA: What? It’s very interesting because I’m tired of my glasses and I was thinking about wearing lents from now on.

HARRISON: I think it’s really trendy and futuristic but you have to be careful because not everyone can wear lents.

HANNA: yes, I know. I was trying to wear them sometimes ago and I didn’t get used to them. However, currently I think that I could try it again.

HARRISON: Ok, so if you want I can go with you into the shop and get information about them.

(30 minutes later)

HANNA: I’m very convinced! I want to buy them right now!

HARRISON: It doesn’t appeal to me. The price is quite expensive.

HANNA: yes, but they have so many advantages. In one year, the myopia disappears and the special liquid and the cover, which you can personalize, g included.

HARRISON: ok, but the price stills being too expensive for me.

HANNA: I don’t mind, the one who will buy them is me. Thank you for your advices but I love it.

Asking for advice

  • Laura: Maria, Do you remember John? The boy who I meet  at Susan's party? I have got a big problem and I don't know what to do.
  • Maria: Oh.. What happens? Have you talked with him before?
  • Laura: Yes. Please, can you give me some advice?
  • Maria: Of course.  Only If you tell me the whole.
  • Laura: That (It) is not a problem, I trust you. Well, A week after the party, John added me on Facebook and we  started talking all days, but on Monday he asked me if I would like  go to the cinema with him, and I told him yes I did. But yesterday Helen told me that she loved John. What should I do? I go to the cinema witch Jhon?  I am very confused.
  • Maria: Have you told  Helen what John asked you?
  • Laura: No, because I'm afraid to hurt her feelings.
  • Maria. Oh, dear. Couldn't you talk with Helen and explain to her what happens? Helen is a good girl, I think  she can understand this.
  • Laura:I'm not sure about that, If I tell her this, she will be angry (angry is not a verb) with me, I'm sure.
  • Maria: If I were Helen, I'd prefer that you explain me whi you are going to the cinema with John. Don't you?
  • Laura: I think so. That's a good idea. I'm going to talk with Helen now. Thank you Maria for your advice.
  • Maria: Ok. It's not a problem, see you soon and I hope that you  have a good time
  • Laura: Thanks.
