Asking for advice

  • Laura: Maria, Do you remember John? The boy who I meet  at Susan's party? I have got a big problem and I don't know what to do.
  • Maria: Oh.. What happens? Have you talked with him before?
  • Laura: Yes. Please, can you give me some advice?
  • Maria: Of course.  Only If you tell me the whole.
  • Laura: That (It) is not a problem, I trust you. Well, A week after the party, John added me on Facebook and we  started talking all days, but on Monday he asked me if I would like  go to the cinema with him, and I told him yes I did. But yesterday Helen told me that she loved John. What should I do? I go to the cinema witch Jhon?  I am very confused.
  • Maria: Have you told  Helen what John asked you?
  • Laura: No, because I'm afraid to hurt her feelings.
  • Maria. Oh, dear. Couldn't you talk with Helen and explain to her what happens? Helen is a good girl, I think  she can understand this.
  • Laura:I'm not sure about that, If I tell her this, she will be angry (angry is not a verb) with me, I'm sure.
  • Maria: If I were Helen, I'd prefer that you explain me whi you are going to the cinema with John. Don't you?
  • Laura: I think so. That's a good idea. I'm going to talk with Helen now. Thank you Maria for your advice.
  • Maria: Ok. It's not a problem, see you soon and I hope that you  have a good time
  • Laura: Thanks.
