Competitive sports.

Everyone wants to succeed, but not everyone reaches the desired top. It is clear that if we want to succeed we can’t take the elevator, we must take the stairs. Every step is harder than the previous one and we have to be very careful because lots of people like you want to reach the top. I am not a personal trainer or anything like that, but I think that we can only succeed if we want that more than we want to breathe.

It isn’t different in sports, being successful in the sports world could be harder than being successful in other worlds like business, etc. I said that because in sports, there are lots of people that use unfair methods to reach the top and that make your journey to the top harder and harder. Also, we can’t do anything against this kind of people. Competitive sports makes people choose to take the elevator instead of the stairs because of the frustration or the pressure that they have.

Competitive sports like cycling are the clear example. We are used to see cyclists cheating, that’s because of the frustration they get when they lose a race. We should give rewards to fair players and punish cheaters.

To conclude, competitive sports don’t give a lot of good values and that’s because of the system we have. If we had a more cooperative system, the entire society will be different and we could have built an escalator to let everyone reach the top.
