THE CITY THAT NEVER SLEEPS, NEW YORK

My dream capital city is New York, I know it is extremely ordinary and even boring because everyone talks about it and it is probably the most popular city in the world, but since I was ten, I believe that one day I will live there.

Obviously I realize New York it isn’t as it is showed in American films where we see a big idealization of the city and everything related with it. My opinions of this city aren’t based on those films, I have talked to several people who have travelled there and most of them have an amazing impression of the Big Apple, they also agreed that it’s such a wonderful city that you must travel there for being able to feel those exciting emotions and experiences.

As a person that has never travelled to NYC what first attracts me is that this city is suitable for everyone, old and young people. It has the best shopping in the world for the mad shopper, museumx for the culture one, magnificent buildings for the architect interested, etc. Especially, I would love to visit the huge, unique and fascinating famous buildings and places like the Grand Central Terminal, the Empire State Building, Times Square or its Green Places. What’s more, the Big Apple has a small part of each culture in the world, from Chinatown to Little Italy, if you go for a walk in these areas you can feel as though you’ve entered not just a different country but a different continent.

I’m also amazed by the “deja-vu feeling” that I have listened to other people when they arrive there, from TV series and movies where we have seen the pulse and New York’s different sights.

Finally, I think New York represents the center of the world and just being there, for many people (including me), means their dream come true. But this isn’t a surprise, considering the fact that there is so much to see and do that you are always short of time.
