Year-round sunshine, intriguing deserts, beautiful beaches, luxurious hotels and shopping malls. Could I ask for anything more?
The answer is... Absolutely not.
Dubai is a city in the United Arab Emirates. This Emirate is located on the southeast coast of the Persian Gulf and is one of the seven emirates that make up the country. It has the largest population in the UAE (2,106,177) and the second-largest land territory (4,114 km2) after the capital, Abu Dhabi.
Since I heard about this cosmopolitan and paradisiac city, I've been looking forward the moment to take a plane straight right to Dubai. Many TV progams used to attract my attention by talking and showing images about the amazing culture of Dubai and, of course, its high life-quality and outstanding buildings.
Dubai has recently attracted world attention through many innovative large construction projects and sports events. The city has become symbolic for its skyscrapers and high-rise buildings, such as the world's tallest Burj Khalifa, in addition to ambitious development projects including man-made islands, hotels, and some of the largest shopping malls in the region and the world.
Because of all these reasons, Dubai has always seemed an extraordinary place to me. Furthermore, it is always important, as much as interesting, to live and feel other cultures which will make us more human and conscious about the world we are living in.
Dubai would really suppose a different life point of view, in all aspects. I really hope to be there someday.
