Eventhough the technique is really new and we are not really experienced in the iris recognition area, in most of the places that it has been used it had given really good results. It's the case of one American business man who is used to travel really often who assures that it is much safer than current IDs and it has plenty of advantages. One big advantage is that every iris is unique so no-one can steal you identity.
