One of the most easiest and also hardest ways to succeed is taking part in sports world, competitive sports, concretely. But not everybody who engages in sport succeeds.
From my point of view, competitive sports can teach us some ways to succeed. As we know, we can't reach the top without effort, training and willpower. These kind of competitions show us the magnitude of honour, respect and fair-play and how to develop it. Also, in team sports, it can be appreciated the importance of union and the advantage that provides.
But on the other hand, some people think that succeed is impossible without individualism and falls into the trap of arrogance. Sometimes, to be competitive is synonymous of an agressive attitude which shows the worst parts of athletes. If the success become to a extremely strong ambition, that may lead to failure.
However, I think that there's a way which has taken many athletes directly to the top, and it is none other than beating records. To beat records is positive to succeed. On the one hand, there are those that work strongly, and on the other hand, there are athletes who simply have talent and that's the reason of the amazing records they beat.
To sum up, I believe that competitive sports can teaches different manners to succeed, of course in sports world, but winning it is not the main way to achieve it.
I still think that the effort, training and willpower are the most important.
