It's clear that, whenever we turn on the TV or the radio, we are bombed with lots of news about many Spanish and world champions of all kind of sports. That is possibly why many people think that being good at sports means to succeed in life. But are they right?
On the one hand, the fact of competing forces us to take out the best of ourselves. Besides, I would say that it does teach us to try hard and to bear the pain; meanwhile we think about getting what we want, nothing else matters. In view of this fact and moving to the everyday life, competitive sports could really give us a lesson about how we ought to act sometimes.
On the other hand, I don't believe success to be the most important thing in life. Despite fame and the satisfaction of being better than the others, it is wise and honourable to admit that we cannot be, and are not, the best at everything. As well, it is even more admirable to consider us successful nos for being the best but for trying to do our best.
To sum up, I would just say that we have to find out which are our possibilites, where our limit is and which are the objectives we can reach to finally feel that we succeed in life. All in all, the most important thing is to feel good and satisfied with ourselves.
