"Vatican dismisses reports linking pope's resignation to gay conclave discovery"

The Vatican has attacked the reports that one Italian diary has published about that Pope Benedict XVI’s resignation is because of the discovery of a network of gay prelates as attempts to influence the cardinals in their choice of a new Pontific. The Vatican secretariat has refused all of this information and they have said that is deplorable and that this news isn’t true.

The past week, the cardinal Gianfranco Ravasi criticized the Vatican’s dysfunction and  said that a bureaucratic reform is a high priority for the next pope. Some of the gay prelates in the Vatican have reportedly been targeted by blackmailers. The Italian newspaper “La Republica” said several evidences that verify that something happens in the Vatican.
