Dialogue between two men in a difficult moment during an expedition

Randolph: Hey Mike, be careful in this area. It seems like the ice is going to break.

Mike: I know it, but we haven't got much time until the nightfall.

Randolph: Even so, don't hurry please. It would be terrible if any of us would fall into this cold water.

Mike: I'm afraid that we have no choice. If we don't hurry, the darkness will impede us to keep walking and arrive to the next base.

Randolph: Yes, of course, but falling into the water will hold up the trek even more. So, believe me and try to not to give a wrong step.

Mike: I'm so sorry friend, we are in the Antarctica, we haven't got the help of nobody and nobody will realize that we are in the middle of this enormous continent if we don't send the signal from the base.

Randolph: Precisely that's why we have to walk carefully Mike! Don't make me nervous and do what I say.

Mike: No way Randolph! I'm sick of obey everything you order me. Give me a break and let me make my own decisions for once!

Randolph: Listen buddy. I know that's a difficult situation but we shouldn't lose the control. I'm just advising you of the danger that it would suppose. To have an argument for this has no sense, we should remain united.

Mike: That's the same old song of all time. Get you on my skin and try to understand me. It has been two months since we started and we always do what you command. Is it so hard for you to consider that it would be better if we arrive to the base before the nightfall?

Randolph: I give up Mike, you aren't understanding anything.

Mike: Perfect so. I see you at the base. (Mike starts running)

Randolph: Are you crazy? Wait a moment please!

(the ice breaks and Mike falls into the water)

Mike: Oh no! This is too cold Randolph, I can breathe. Help!

Randolph: Oh my god Mike, I told you! Don't worry, I will get you out!
