Advantages and disadvantages of school uniforms

What is a school uniform?The most common type of a school uniform is a set of shirt,tie, trousers for the boys and skirt for the girls,but it can vary  in different schools,countries....etc.As everything the topic of the school uniforms, has a positive and a negative side.Some people think that  is too old-fashioned,others think that's very good for making no difference between different social classes.......etc.Let''s make  a deeper look in the two main statements.

Wearing a uniform means that everyone is wearing exactly the same clothes like his classmate and automatically there's not any difference between the social classes, and that's a very positive side of the school uniforms,because today's society judges a lot the people by the social class that they belong to.Another positive side of the uniforms is that it gives  a certain rank to the school as a better place with more discipline and more requirements for the students,and automatically transforms the school as a place for students with more knowledge,or better financial possibilities.


But why everyone has to wear the same clothes as the other?Every person has its own personallity,and its way of thinking,so everyone can dress by the way he/she likes.When you first meet a person the first thing that you see is its clothes ,and by the clothes you can undestand what kind of person the èrsp is , to which subculture belongs and even what type of music he or she listens ,but if in the class everyone is wearing the same clothes how are you going to distinguish the hipster from the swagger?And by that wearing a uniform can literally make all the class look the same. And we should know that everyone is different and it can express its' self by the way he/she likes.

In my opinion, the school uniforms are something which shouldnt be applied in the majority of school, but they have to be accepted in schools with a higher rank.
