A STRANGE STORY

This strange story has happened in the end of the last summer. I was in my hometown, Hortoneda, and my cousin Maria and her friend Andrea had came to pass a few days. As is naturally, I was so excited because I hadn’t seen my cousin for months. I remember that I passed all day with them talking and having fun in my cousin’s house.

After to spend a great day, Maria’s mom invited me to stay there and dinner with Maria and Andrea because this night she and her husband were planning to go out. I accepted happily as well.  Then, Maria, Andrea and I prepared our dinner and we watched a TV series; however I had a great idea!  thought that we could watch a terror film and I asked my cousin if she could search some terror film in to the TV and she said that she would do it but that she wouldn’t see it because she was too tired, therefore Andrea and I stayed in the living room to see the film, which is called “The ring”. While we were watching it, we felt so, so upset and nervous but in the same time we were excited because of the plot. Finally, the film had ended and it was too late so I decided to go home.

The night was very dark and only a few lampposts lighted up the street. I was so stunned as a result of the film that I had already seen so, I started running fast. I really felt very nervous and when I was not more than two hundred metres approximately from my house I saw a strange shadow which it was too close to my house. I was very scared because I didn’t know if it was really somebody or it was only my mind. What is more, that I’m short – sighted and in that moment I didn’t have my glasses.

Next, I decided to continue walking but with any security in every step. I was so alert of anything around. When I arrived where the shadow was I saw that it was just that, a shadow and that nobody was there. In that moment I felt very relief. The next morning I explained everything to Maria and Andrea and Andrea was very understanding but my cousin said that that’s the result of watching horror films. Nevertheless, I still seeing horror films!
