I know that advertisements are a fruitful way for televisions to produce incomes, but sometimes advertisements are excessive. Many TV channels show a lot of ads during the broadcast of programs, and that's not a succesful method to keep the level of audience.
Government can't do anything about this because most of these televisions are private. But I think that these TV companies could sign an agreement to regulate the emission of ads, and so, competency wouldn't be so strong.
In fact, broadcasting a little bit of advertisements isn't inadequate in all. Of course we prefer to see a whole movie in one sitting, but we often need to go to the toilet or other necessities while seeing TV, so we can take advantage of this short pause to do these things.
In conclusion, TV channels should improve the broadcasting of ads but, front my point of view it isn't necessary to ban them.
