Manaus

The city of Manaus is on the Negro River in the north-west of Brazil, so in South America. Its population is aproximately six hundred and fourteen thousand of people.

Manaus is a very noisy and lively city, and it's famous for its magestic opera house, its amazing botanical garden and its zoo. Also, the natural jungle park attracts millions of tourists every year. 

The main industries in Manaus include shipbuilding and oil refining. The export of rubber, nuts and, often, forest products are also very important to the city's economy.

The weather in Manaus is usually hot and humid and it rains a lot. The average annual temperature is 27 degrees centigrade. 

So, this is Manaus; a city full of curious and enchanting places, with a variety of things to do and in which people will delight.
